To prolong ASUS Z35 Battery's life, please keep the following tips when using ASUS Z35 Battery pack.

1. When charging for the first time, this ASUS Z35 battery may indicate that charing is finish after charging around 15 mins. To solve it, just simply remove the ASUS Z35 battery from your laptop and then restart to charge it again, it's better to charge it over 12 hours. After finishing the battery charging, pls completely exhaust the ASUS Z35 battery without adapter pluging in your laptop, that is very important for prolonging the ASUS Z35 battery life.
   
   Repeat the above procedure about 4 times, and do make sure the ASUS Z35 battery has been fully charged and fully exhausted. When the ASUS Z35 Battery is fully conditioned, the battery charger indicators and LEDs on your laptop and charger can work reliably
2. A new ASUS Z35 Battery needs to be fully charged and fully discharged (cycled) a few times before it can condition to full capacity.
3. If you don't use your ASUS Z35 battery for a long period, we recommend storing ASUS Z35 battery in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal objects. And it is important to condition (fully discharge and then fully charge) the ASUS Z35 Battery every 2-3 weeks. Failure to do so may significantly shorten the battery life (this does not apply to Li-ion batteries, which do not require conditioning). To discharge the ASUS Z35 battery, simply run your laptop under the battery's power until it shuts down or until you get a low battery warning.
4. Keep the ASUS Z35 battery Clean - It's a good idea to clean dirty battery contacts with a cotton swab and ethanol. This helps maintain a good connection between the battery and your laptop.
5. Please use reliable charger, bad charger may damage ASUS Z35 replacement battery
6. Let the ASUS Z35 battery drain as much as possible before recharging if your laptop battery is not a Li-ion battery. Exhaust all the battery power until the computer turn off.
