To prolong ASUS N20 Battery's life, please keep the following tips when using ASUS N20 Battery pack.

1. When charging for the first time, this ASUS N20 battery may indicate that charing is finish after charging around 15 mins. To solve it, just simply remove the ASUS N20 battery from your laptop and then restart to charge it again, it's better to charge it over 12 hours. After finishing the battery charging, pls completely exhaust the ASUS N20 battery without adapter pluging in your laptop, that is very important for prolonging the ASUS N20 battery life.
   
   Repeat the above procedure about 4 times, and do make sure the ASUS N20 battery has been fully charged and fully exhausted. When the ASUS N20 Battery is fully conditioned, the battery charger indicators and LEDs on your laptop and charger can work reliably
2. A new ASUS N20 Battery comes in a discharged condition must be charged before use (refer to the devices manual for charging instructions). Upon initial use (or after a long storage period), this ASUS N20 Battery may require two to three charge/discharge cycles before achieving maximum capacity.
3. If you don't use your ASUS N20 battery for a long period, we recommend storing ASUS N20 battery in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal objects. And it is important to condition (fully discharge and then fully charge) the ASUS N20 Battery every 2-3 weeks. Failure to do so may significantly shorten the battery life (this does not apply to Li-ion batteries, which do not require conditioning). To discharge the ASUS N20 battery, simply run your laptop under the battery's power until it shuts down or until you get a low battery warning.
