Before using a new ASUS F3T Battery, it must to take over 12-14 hours to fully charge it(These is no problem to over-charge it).
New ASUS F3T battery comes in a discharged condition must be fully charged before use it. It is recommended to fully charge and discharge your new ASUS F3T battery about 3 times to make reaching its maximum rated capacity.
If you don't use your ASUS F3T battery for a long period, we recommend storing ASUS F3T battery in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal objects. And it is important to condition (fully discharge and then fully charge) the ASUS F3T Battery every 2-3 weeks. Failure to do so may significantly shorten the battery life (this does not apply to Li-ion batteries, which do not require conditioning). To discharge the ASUS F3T battery, simply run your laptop under the battery's power until it shuts down or until you get a low battery warning.
Do not store the at a high temperature above 45, if thrown into a fire may cause ASUS F3T battery explosion.
Do not loading and unloading the battery when connecting the laptop ac adapter, this will lead to direct burn ASUS F3T battery.
Let the ASUS F3T battery drain as much as possible before recharging if your laptop battery is not a Li-ion battery. Exhaust all the battery power until the computer turn off.
