1. When charging for the first time, this ASUS A8H battery may indicate that charing is finish after charging around 15 mins. To solve it, just simply remove the ASUS A8H battery from your laptop and then restart to charge it again, it's better to charge it over 12 hours. After finishing the battery charging, pls completely exhaust the ASUS A8H battery without adapter pluging in your laptop, that is very important for prolonging the ASUS A8H battery life.
   
   Repeat the above procedure about 4 times, and do make sure the ASUS A8H battery has been fully charged and fully exhausted. When the ASUS A8H Battery is fully conditioned, the battery charger indicators and LEDs on your laptop and charger can work reliably
2. A new ASUS A8H Battery comes in a discharged condition must be charged before use (refer to the devices manual for charging instructions). Upon initial use (or after a long storage period), this ASUS A8H Battery may require two to three charge/discharge cycles before achieving maximum capacity.
3. Prevent the Memory Effect - Keep the ASUS A8H Battery good by fully charging and then fully discharging it at least once every two to three weeks. This does not apply to Li-ion batteries which do not suffer from the memory effect.
4. Be sure to store your ASUS A8H Battery properly. Do not leave it in a hot car, or in humid conditions. The best storage conditions are cool, dry, cool and away from heat and metal objects. The refrigerator is fine if you can keep ASUS A8H battery dry in a sealed bag with a packet of silica gel.
