When charging for the first time, this ACER Extensa 2000 battery may indicate that charing is finish after charging around 15 mins. To solve it, just simply remove the ACER Extensa 2000 battery from your laptop and then restart to charge it again, it's better to charge it over 12 hours. After finishing the battery charging, pls completely exhaust the ACER Extensa 2000 battery without adapter pluging in your laptop, that is very important for prolonging the ACER Extensa 2000 battery life.

Repeat the above procedure about 4 times, and do make sure the ACER Extensa 2000 battery has been fully charged and fully exhausted. When the ACER Extensa 2000 Battery is fully conditioned, the battery charger indicators and LEDs on your laptop and charger can work reliably
A new ACER Extensa 2000 Battery needs to be fully charged and fully discharged (cycled) a few times before it can condition to full capacity.
If your ACER Extensa 2000 battery hasn't been used for a long time, it should be fully discharged and charged before using it, because partical charging after partical discharging will shorten the ACER Extensa 2000 battery life, preformance and capacity(this does not apply to Li-ion batteries, which do not require conditioning).
